Editorial standards and source policy
Sleep Pathways Guild creates independent educational support for sleep-technology learners. These standards explain how content is developed, sourced, reviewed, updated, and corrected.
Source hierarchy
Current official sources are prioritized for rules, eligibility, scoring expectations, technical guidance, and credential policies. These include BRPT candidate materials and blueprints, the AASM Scoring Manual and clinical resources, AAST technical guidelines, and other relevant primary or publisher-maintained sources. Textbooks and peer-reviewed literature support explanation and context but do not replace current official requirements.
Original educational content
Practice questions, scenarios, explanations, visuals, and study tools are created for learning. They are not represented as recalled, leaked, copied, or proprietary examination items. Content is designed to teach concepts and reasoning rather than reproduce a credentialing examination.
Review and updates
Pages and tools are reviewed when official requirements change, when a source is updated, when a broken link is reported, or when a learner identifies a possible error. Dates and version notes may be used where they help learners understand currency.
Corrections
Substantive errors are corrected as soon as practical. Reports should include the page or app name, the exact wording or location, and the reason a correction may be needed. Send correction requests to admin@sleeppathwaysguild.com.
Educational and clinical boundary
Guild content supports study and professional development. It does not replace formal education, clinical supervision, employer policy, medical advice, official manuals, or professional judgment. Learners should verify current rules and patient-care requirements with authoritative sources.
Independence and conflicts
Affiliate relationships, advertisements, or outside links do not determine educational conclusions or which free tools are available. Commercial relationships are disclosed separately on the Affiliate Disclosure page.
