Estimated time: 6 minutes

The blueprint is the map for the whole project. It shows how the exam is divided, what kinds of topics are tested, and where the greatest testing weight is placed.

3 domainsStudy map

The three domains

Domain 1: Advanced Knowledge

20%

Physiology, ventilation, gas exchange, respiratory drive, breathing patterns, and monitoring.

Domain 2: Pathophysiology and Clinical Presentation

30%

Disorder recognition across obstructive sleep apnea, central sleep apnea, and hypoventilation.

Domain 3: Evaluation and Treatment

50%

Treatment selection, PAP, oxygen, oral appliances, neurostimulators, high-flow nasal cannula, surgery, and behavioral therapy.

Domain 1: Advanced Knowledge (20%)
